The Killer Plates include 160 synthetic and natural toxic substances such as DNA/ RNA synthesis inhibitors, cytotoxic agents, immune suppressants, anti-proliferatives, endocrine disruptors and other agents. These are provided as 10mM DMSO solutions in two 96 well microplates or as 5mg solid samples in screw-top glass vials. The 96 well microplate solutions are available at volumes of 125, 250, 500 and 1000 microliters. These formats can be modified according to plate type or compound density per plate to meet your specific program needs.
This collection provides an opportunity to evaluate the sensitivity of new and novel assays in the search for new drug development leads. The potential for false positives resulting from the response of the assay to the test substances can be uncovered and addressed in the subsequent selection or design of future high volume collections.
Data provided for each compound define its structure, CAS #, formula, molecular weight, biological profile and generic & market name. Literature references to use and toxicology are also included.
